DESIGN SYSTEMS, BRANDING AND PRODUCT DESIGN´╗┐

I consider storytelling and curiosity core aspects of my personality. While the first helps me breaking complexity into actionable tasks, the second one is what fuels my passions and willingness to never stop pushing forward. My work in photography, graphic design, branding and product design brought me, along these past years, to live in Italy, London, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. My specialty is design systems, a discipline that taught me how to combine all crafts mastered so far, into an effective, smart solution for my clients.

DESIGN SYSTEMS / PRODUCT DESIGN / BRANDING

Danske Bank - Leading the vision for one of the first design systems in Scandinavia.

Danske Bank - Leading the vision for one of the first design systems in Scandinavia.

Danske Bank - Owning the vision for one of the first design systems in Scandinavia.

A journey lasted 4+ years: not only creating a responsive platform for Dasnke Bank employees to build consistent digital experiences, but also re-defining the rules for their online branding. An effort that involved multiple teams, across countries and many stakeholders [Pics from the online styleguide we coded].

About processes

No matter what methodology, I believe the most important part of the process is represented by my attitude towards the task, the client and my team mates. Within a project, I see everyone as equal individuals, working together to solve a problem.

About user centered design

These days many brands let go their unique design DNA to make room for accessibility and conversion. My questions is: what's going to happen when all digital experiences are going to be the same? Brands will need their identity back, and there I will be waiting for them!

About beauty

"Kinobi" comes from the Japanese: it means the coming together of beauty and function. I came across this concept in one of my travels to Japan, and I immediately felt myself part of it. I infact don't believe in Candy UI, or any other visual attribute that does not contribute to make an experience meaningful.
